Though this is the case, you should consider the following: 

Nylon 6 is strong and can last a long time and can be used on items that require such toughness. However, it can be used in items exposed to high temperatures because it can handle them. Nylon  6 is long, which makes it a good option for heat-oriented things. 

Nylon 6 can do well if you want something strong and relying. 

Nylon 66 is stiff and very strong; therefore, things that require a lot of strength, like tools or items used in machines. Most people use it when they want to make tough items as it can resist chemicals. Therefore, if you require the results of such toughness, you may use it. Therefore, from the benefits and disbenefits, I’d prefer Ripstop nylon fabric 6 to Nylon 66 for my DYI project.
